Whistleblower - Protection against Retaliation
A "whistleblower" is an employee who reports legal violations in the workplace internally to a superior, or to an outside law enforcement or governmental agency. Certain state and federal laws provide protections to “whistleblowers” meaning an employer violates the law for terminating an employee for making such a report.
